Solid ball striking is by far one of the best feelings you can get when practising and when you're out on course. Finding that sweet spot on the club face will mean finding the right low point in your swing in relation to the ball.
Lee Trevino was once asked to name a great bunker player who was a “flipper” (that is someone who rolls the hands through impact closing the face in the follow through). He couldn’t. He said all of the good bunker players held the face open after impact.
